Tualatin Police looking for Bank Robbery Suspect
On Thursday, September 5, 2013, at approximately 9:20am, Tualatin Police Officers responded to a reported bank robbery at the Bank of the West, located at 7925 SW Nyberg Road, in Tualatin.
When officers arrived, they learned that a man entered the bank and demanded cash. Witnesses described the suspect as a Caucasian adult male, approximately 35-40 years of age, 5'10"-6' tall, with shadowy facial hair. He was wearing a light colored zip-up shirt with dark checkered plaid on it and a light colored hood, blue jeans, black tennis shoes, and mirrored sunglasses. The suspect was carrying an item that gave the impression that he had a weapon.
The suspect fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Sherwood Police assisted by conducting a dog track, but the suspect was not located.
