All Things Spooky
This month, we have more than just BOOOOOks to give you chills and thrills.
All October long, you can make glow-in-the-dark ghosts (pictured) in our Makerspace Open Labs. Open Labs take place in the Makerspace on the following weekly schedule:
- Tuesdays, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
- Thursdays, 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.
- Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Sundays, 1:30 - 5:30 p.m.
Also all month long, we have a Halloween Scavenger Hunt for kids! Ask at the Information Desk for your checklist and bring it back when you're done for a prize!

Art Atelier: Autumn Over-Paintings
Wednesdays, October 2 and 9, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.

Makerspace
Add a ghostly image - or whatever autumnal touches you like - at Art Atelier. This month's sessions show you how to work with existing paintings or photographs to create unique images. Register here (required).
Super Saturday: Mask Magic
Saturday, October 5, 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Grades K-5
Community Room
Create your own unique mask using simple craft supplies and let your imagination take over. Design a mask that reflects your style and personality, and let your creativity shine! Registration is recommended but not required (register here).

Celebrate Halloween at this action-packed dance fest. We’ll dance to our favorite songs, trick or treat around the library, and have fun sensory stations in the Children’s Room. Fun for the tiniest ghosts and goblins!
