CenterCal Properties, owners of Bridgeport Village and Nyberg Woods, submitted a Master Plan application and Conditional Use Permit for the "Nyberg Rivers" project proposal to redevelop the former Kmart site and adjacent properties.
The proposed Master Plan includes demolition of three existing buildings (including the former Kmart), construction of seven (7) buildings, access and public facilities improvements, parking, pedestrian, bicycle, and landscaping improvements. The Conditional Use Permit would allow retail uses in the Office Commercial (CO) Planning District and allow outside sales in the Central Commercial (CC) Planning District.
The Master Plan was reviewed by the City Council on July 22nd and continued to August 7th. Meeting materials for both the Master Plan and Conditional Use Permit are available for the public hearing. Following the Master Plan and Conditional Use Permit process, the plan will be reviewed by the Architectural Review Board.
On August 26, 2013, the Tualatin City Council approved the Master Plan and Conditional Use Permit with conditions. Meeting materials for both the Master Plan and Conditional Use Permit are available.
