Blue Lot Changes - September 2018
At the August 15 meeting of the Core Area Parking District Board it was discussed and decided in an effort to help alleviate the excessive parking usage in the Blue Lot to change 6 of the long term spaces to 2 hour parking allowance. This would help increase the turnover in parking space usage. As of the week of September 3, temporary signs will be posted on the newly designated parking spaces followed by permanent signage installation.
Also discussed was the need to address the issue of safety on the northern corner of the Blue Lot where people are cutting across the landscape area where it unsafe. It was decided to place a fence along that area which will require visitors to walk around that landscape area and to the sidewalk to walk north on SW Boones Ferry Road.
If you have any questions, regarding any of these recent changes you can contact either Kathy Kaatz at 503.691.3093 or Clay Reynolds at 503.691.3099. Thanks for your cooperation and patience with these latest improvements.
