Mayor's Note March 2025
Neighbors, I have some exciting news—Parque Las Casitas is officially under construction! Formerly Stoneridge Park, this pocket park has been lovingly designed by the residents of the Las Casitas neighborhood. More than 750 residents helped plan this park through surveys, virtual open houses, and community input. Parque Las Casitas will feature a brand-new playground, a basketball court, and a spray pad for summer fun.
Construction will continue through next winter. During that time, the park will be fenced off, and there will be no through-access for bikes or pedestrians. Once construction is complete, it will become a vibrant gathering space for both the Las Casitas neighborhood and the larger Tualatin community.
I can’t wait to see this park come to life—thank you to everyone who helped make it happen.
