May Mayor’s Note
On April 23, we gathered at the Grand Hotel at Bridgeport for our 2025 State of the City Breakfast. It’s always such a joy seeing members from across our vibrant community coming together. We were thrilled to welcome both familiar faces and new ones in the crowd.

The event was a celebration of what we’ve accomplished together over the past year—and an opportunity to share how we’re continuing to move forward. We highlighted our progress and ongoing efforts in Tualatin’s seven priority areas:

  • Neighborhood Engagement
  • Economic Development
  • Environment
  • Culture and Identity
  • Housing
  • Transportation
  • Parks

Speaking of accomplishments, our spring State of the City always comes at an exciting time—just as we gear up for a season full of fantastic City events! This June, we kick things off with the Blender Dash, a fun-run adventure for kids 5-15. In July, ¡Viva Tualatin! brings culture, food, and community to the forefront. And that’s just the beginning—there’s so much more to look forward to as we head into summer in Tualatin. Thank you to everyone who joined us. Your support and involvement are what make Tualatin such a special place to call home.
