Senator Merkley and Representative Bonamici Celebrate Tualatin Centennial at Farmers Market
On Friday, July 26, 2013 at 4 p.m. U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley and U.S. Representative Suzanne Bonamici will be visiting Tualatin to make a special presentation for Tualatin’s Centennial Celebration at the Farmers Market. The City of Tualatin in partnership with the Tualatin Farmers Market is excited to welcome these elected officials for this special celebration of the City’s 100th birthday!
The presentation will begin at 4 p.m. with opening remarks from City Councilor Frank Bubenik, followed by a special Centennial presentation from Senator Merkley and closing remarks from Congresswoman Bonamici. All are welcome to attend the event which will be held in the Farmers Market on the Tualatin Commons. After the presentation there will be free music and entertainment at the Market. Visitors can also shop for fresh produce, handcrafted goods, or enjoy dinner from one of the many food vendors. In addition, across the lake ArtSplash, Tualatin’s Annual Art Show and Sale will be taking place under the white tent where visitors can view and shop the work of many artists from around the region.
