Tualatin Planning Commission (TPC)

The TPC fulfills Oregon Planning Goal 1, as the committee for citizen involvement in the Land Conservation and Development Commission planning process. They review, advise and make recommendations to City Council on matters affecting land use planning and the Comprehensive Plan. They have decision-making power for the following applications: Conditional Use Permits (CUP), Industrial Master Plan (IMP), Reinstatement of Use, Sign Variance (SVAR), Transitional Use Permit (TRP), and Variance (VAR).

General information 

The Tualatin Planning Commission (TPC) consists of seven members appointed by Council, with no fewer than five members residing within the city. The members serve three-year terms until Council appoints their respective successors. Members receive no compensation. Refer to Tualatin Municipal Code (TMC) Chapter 11-1 for further information about TPC composition. Prior to March 2012, the TPC was the Tualatin Planning Advisory Committee (TPAC).
