Core Area Parking Lot Lights Conversion Complete
The Core Area Parking District Board (CAPDB) recommended to the City Council that $8,000 of funding be used to convert all Core Area Parking Lot Lights to LED in October 2015. The CAPDB working in conjunction the Energy Trust of Oregon, have received an estimated $11,350 of incentive towards completion. The return on investment (ROI) was reduced from a 5 to 6 year ROI to a 2 to 3 year ROI by allowing City maintenance staff the ability to work the installation into their schedule, saving an estimated $23,746. The project was completed March of 2016. If you need further information you can contact Clay Reynolds, Maintenance Services Manager at 503.691.3099
