All Aboard! Oregon Passenger Rail
In order to compete for federal funding to improve passenger rail, the state must complete a federally required environmental analysis, call an Environmental Impact Statement. This analysis will help guide important decisions, including selection of the general rail alignment, location of train stations, frequency of trains, and travel time objectives.
While the current alignment of passenger rail does not go through Tualatin, the open house will provide a good chance for citizens to give input on new alignment alternatives, which could include bringing the rail closer to Tualatin. Click to learn more!
