The City Council is considering making changes to where marijuana businesses can be located in Tualatin. On September 16, City staff hosted an informational webinar to describe Tualatin's current regulations and the Council's proposed changes.

Proposed changes include:

  • Allowing retail businesses to locate in industrial and commercial zones, except for the central commercial district;
  • Reducing the required minimum distance from 3,000 to 1,000 feet from other uses including schools, libraries, parks, and residential areas for all marijuana businesses; and
  • Reducing the required minimum distance between marijuana businesses from 2,000 to 1,000 feet in accordance with state law.

The webinar was recorded and is available to view below. All questions received in advance of and during the webinar are having responses prepared. They will be posted to this webpage shortly.
