Washington County Grants Type 1 Noise Variance Permit for Nighttime Construction
Tigard Sand & Gravel LLC has received approval of their Type 1 Noise Variance request from Washington County to work from November 16, 2015 through January 14, 2016 during the hours of 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. This is in connection with the work being done on Highway 43, in Lake Oswego, which is requiring the work to be done at night to avoid safety concerns associated with traffic delays and high traffic volumes during the daytime hours. The crusher will not be running and this is anticipated to be a loader and the trucks entering and exiting the pit to get the materials from a stockpile.
