April 19, 2014, Put Down Roots in Tualatin, Earth Day
Earth Day
Saturday, April 19, 2014, 80 volunteers distributed mulch to 1400 newly planted trees and shrubs at Ibach Park.
Tualatin High School biology classes, Girl Scout troop 41105, PCC environmental education class, PSU Ultimate Frisbee Club and Tualatin citizens were represented volunteers.
Amazingly, 16 yards of mulch was used to protect and supply nutrients to plant root systems throughout the park.
Special recognition to check in volunteer, Andrew and talented Crew Leaders, Matt-Dave-Jessica-Davin and Deb.
