The study of human impact on the environment - Phase II...
Engaging students, enhancing the environment, building citizens!
Wednesday and Thursday, May 14-15, 580 Tualatin High School students enhanced their study of human impact on the environment by field work in the Chieftain / Dakota Greenway and water quality facility.
They planted 900 native trees and shrubs and spread 34 yards of mulch to ensure a healthy start for the plants.
The 85 degree sunny day added to their productivity and enthusiasm.
