Put Down Roots in Tualatin, Lewis & Clark College / Brown’s Ferry Park
Lewis & Clark College / Brown’s Ferry Park
Engaging students, enhancing the environment, building citizens.
Saturday, August 30, 2014, 42 Freshman students spent part of their new student orientation at Brown’s Ferry Park learning about Oregon’s forests and stream health.
Students removed 12 yards of invasive English ivy, planted 175 native trees and shrubs and watered two previous plantings installed by past Lewis & Clark volunteers.
