Thank you to all who made the season finale of the Put Down Roots program happen so smoothly and with great results!

Portland Timbers, Portland Thorns, Friends of Trees and Garry the Oak (City staff Ryan Flett) turned out to remove 7 yards of Ivy with Tualatin High School biology students and Enterprise employees.

Tualatin High School Students and Corporate Groups Give Trees a Hug!
65 THS students, 15 Enterprise employees, Portland Timbers, Portland Thorns, Timber Joey, Garry the Oak and Friends of Trees joined the City of Tualatin to remove invasive English ivy in Little Woodrose Park.
--7 yards of ivy was pulled, chopped, stomped and driven away from the park.
-- 250 newly planted native perennials were give a welcome drink of water on a 95 degree day.
Trees made the day by providing shade for enthusiastic volunteers!
