Building a Healthy and Strong Community

Eleven (11) TEENS dedicated over 250 combined volunteer hours as they...

- Watered and maintained the Jurgens Community Garden.
- Removed ivy and other invasive species from Little Woodrose Nature Trail.
- Learned about biodiversity and native plant species by completing a nature walk at TCP.
- Cleaned park tables and shelters at TCP following the Crawfish Festival.
- Painted 16 fire hydrants on Nyberg Road and in the Fox Hills Neighborhood.
- Removed graffiti from the I-5 train overpass.
- Removed weeds from the Police Station Parking Lot and Hedges Creek Trail.
- Removed blackberries and ivy from the Toman Property and Jurgens Park.
- Improved the walking at the Venetia Trail by laying down over 100 meters of bark chips.
- Hosted exchange students at TCP while removing invasive species, practicing language skills, and playing a friendly game of soccer!
