Twelve (12) TEENS dedicated over 350 combined volunteer hours as they...


  • · Planned and Planted the Jurgens Community Garden

  • · Watered native plants at Browns Ferry, Tualatin City Park, and Little Woodrose.

  • · Cleaned tables and shelters at T.C.P.

  • · Learned about sustainable, local, and healthy eating and business practices at New Seasons Market.

  • · Removed invasive species from the Indian Creek Greenway.

  • · Cleaned and prepped 10 city benches at Operations

  • · Painted 16 fire hydrants

  • · Washed windows at Juanita Pohl Center

  • · Began Research for the City of Tualatin Pollinator Garden


 

Together  they learned the happiness that comes from volunteerism, collaboration, and overcoming obstacles.
