TEAM Tualatin Session 7: Report
12 enthusiastic, hard-working TEAM Tualatin members contributed to their community!
- They watered the Jurgen’s Park raised beds and sampled the produce.
- They shoveled wheelbarrows of chips at the TCP Dog Park.
- They cleaned all tables and shelter structures at Tualatin Community Park.
- They painted all 32 tables at Tualatin Community Park in preparation for Crawfish Festival.
- TEAM shoveled 4 truckloads of barkdust at the Skate Park.
- They picked up litter at Tualatin Community Park.
- They mastered Capture the Flag, BS, Shoe Lookie and Mafia.
- TEAM met 12 students from Japan and worked with them setting up for Crawfish Festival.
- They completed the Crawfish Float for Tualatin’s 100th anniversary.
THEY ARE AWESOME IN GIVING THEIR TIME AND ENERGY TO TUALATIN!
TEAM Tualatin scrubs, sands, and paints tables at the park's. This maintenance preserves the life of the tables and makes them look good.
TEAM works with the Park Technicians to prepare booths for the Crawfish Festival.
TEAM and International Students for Japan. The students get an opportunity to learn about civic engagement in America and TEAM gets to learn more about a different culture.
TEAM's salsa garden's first tomato! This has been a successful project! Many neighbors and children have enjoyed the fresh produce.
