Put Down Roots in Tualatin

Washington County Youth Impact Tualatin Trails and Green Spaces!
- 6 youth joined City staff to build trail in Tualatin Community Park. 20 yards of rock was moved, installed and compacted by these hard working young men.
- 3 yards of invasive Himalayan blackberry was removed at Brown’s Ferry pond and new native plants and trees were watered to ensure survival.
- 2500 newly planted native perennials at Ibach Park were give a welcome drink of water on a 90 degree day. Invasive blackberry was removed from the planting site
- City staff Tom Steiger, Jace Rode, Deb Nordin, Mary Tanner and Bryan Smith led the group to successful completion of the projects.
