City of Tualatin Promotes New Assistant and Deputy City Manager
The City of Tualatin is pleased to announce the appointment of two new key leadership positions within the organization. Don Hudson, currently the City’s Finance Director, will take on the role of Assistant City Manager and Tanya Williams, currently the city’s Assistant to the City Manager, will take on the role as Deputy City Manager.
Hudson has been with the City of Tualatin since 2007 and has played an integral role in creating and maintaining the City’s strong financial position. Hudson will retain all of the current duties of the Finance Director position, and will also serve as acting City Manager in the absence of current city manager, Sherilyn Lombos. In his new role as Assistant City Manager he will also serve as key advisor on internal services and operations organization-wide.
Williams has been with the City of Tualatin since 2016 and is responsible for overseeing the City Manager’s Office as well as the City’s communication and public engagement efforts. She will also retain all of the duties of the Assistant to the City manager position in addition to her new role as Deputy. In this capacity she will support the execution of the long-term vision of the City in collaboration with the City Manager and the Council.
City Manager Sherilyn Lombos said, “I’m thrilled to have both Don and Tanya serving in these new roles in our organization. The future is bright in Tualatin!”
