Community Involvement Organization Program
Community Involvement is highly valued in the City of Tualatin. The City strives to involve and inform all community members in decisions that affect our community's quality of life. On June 13, 2011 the City Council adopted principles of citizen involvement based on discussions focused on improving the methods and tools for citizen involvement in the community.
In July 2011, the City Council adopted code language which allows for the development of Community Involvement Organizations (CIO's). The CIO Program is a grass roots effort started and implemented by Tualatin residents to improve communication with one another and with City government.
Not sure which CIO you're in? Check out the interactive map on our website. Just type in your address and it will do the rest!
If you have interest in learning more about the CIO Program, please contact Deputy City Manager Megan George.
