Tualatin Community Survey
In 2023, we conducted a community survey to gauge residents’ opinion on the livability of Tualatin.
Understanding the needs of our community is crucial to ensuring resident satisfaction, high livability standards, and planning for the future. For this reason, we partner with the National Research Center at Polco to conduct the National Community Survey™.
Between September 1, 2023, and November 12, 2023, we randomly sampled 2,800 households, conducting surveys in both English and Spanish. The results were weighted to ensure that the demographic profile of respondents accurately represented the adult population of Tualatin. Additionally, we provided an open participation link so that everyone could participate.
Survey data can be compared with results from more than 500 communities across the country who participate in the National Community Survey™, and local data can be compared to past surveys to gauge how and when resident attitudes change over time. Surveys were conducted in 2023, 2020, 2016, 2013, and 2010. We anticipate the next survey will be launched in 2026.
