Tualatin Non-Essential Services Closed Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

Due to ongoing developments with the COVID-19 Pandemic, the City of Tualatin has taken additional steps to protect our staff and the larger Tualatin community. These steps include canceling non-essential programs, events, and meetings and closing certain facilities to the public. We will continue to monitor the situation and may make adjustments as needed. We will keep our website up-to-date. Effective immediately, the following are impacted:

City Events and Programming

All non-essential programs, events, and meetings are either canceled or postponed through April 8. This includes committee meetings, stakeholder group meetings, programs put on by the Juanita Pohl Center, Tualatin Public Library, Volunteer Services, and the Tualatin Parks and Recreation Department.   

City Council

At this time, scheduled City Council meetings will be held, with social distancing modifications. The community is encouraged to livestream the meetings at https://www.tualatinoregon.gov/citycouncil/watch-council-meetings-live. Public comment can be submitted via email in advance of the meeting.  

Coffee with the Mayor scheduled for March 28 at the Marquis Community Room is also canceled.  

Library

The Tualatin Public Library is closed through Tuesday, March 31. The Library will offer curbside pickup of hold items between 10am and 5pm every day. Call (503) 691-3072 to schedule your pick up. 

Juanita Pohl Center

The Juanita Pohl Center is closed through Wednesday, April 8. Beginning Tuesday, March 17 meals will be served by delivery only. No meals will be served onsite or available for pick-up.

Municipal Court

Tualatin Municipal Court is closed through April 8. Staff is rescheduling any appointments that fall within this time period. Payments will still be accepted and are encouraged to be made remotely to the extent possible.

Utility Billing

The Utility Billing Counter will remain open normal business hours, but customers are asked to conduct their business with the city remotely to the extent possible using online bill pay, phone, mail, or by using the drop box. Planning, Permitting, and Building Services

The Permit Counter will remain open normal business hours. Where it is feasible, staff will work remotely by phone and online to complete permit, planning applications, and design reviews. Inspections will continue to be scheduled at this time.

Passport Services

Passport Services at the Tualatin City Offices are suspended effective Monday, March 16 through Monday, May 4.
