The spill has been resolved and trails are ready to use! Thank you for your patience as we ensure the health and safety of our environmental resources in Tualatin.
The clean up began immediately after we knew about the spill and testing confirmed that it is safe.
7/1/2021
A chemical spill occurred into Hedges Creek near Ibach Park and Alsea Court in Tualatin yesterday, June 30. For health and safety, please keep people and animals away from the area. The area has been closed off with caution tape and signage on the trails. Relevant agencies have been informed and clean up is underway, so nearby neighbors may see crews in the area. The spill occurred from residential roofing work and is unrelated to construction on Garden Corner Curves nearby.
Chemical spills pose a danger to health. Please keep yourself, children, and pets away from this area and let the crews do their work.
