Emergency Preparedness - Build a Kit
Are you and your family prepared for an emergency situation? Do you always think you will begin preparing when you have some free time? Unfortunately emergencies occur with little or no warning, so being prepared is a good thing to make time for now.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has compiled some valuable information regarding putting together a budget-friendly basic disaster supply kit using items you may already have available at home. FEMA recommends that you build a kit with enough items to survive for at least three days.
To see information regarding building a kit and more, visit the FEMA site at Ready.gov or Red Cross.org
