Hydrant Flow Tests
Fire hydrant flow tests determine the flow rate and pressure at a location within Tualatin's water distribution system. Flow tests are used to determine water availability in planning for firefighting activities, fire sprinkler systems, or domestic water demand.
All hydrant flow tests must be permitted through the City to ensure the protection of city infrastructure and public health. Hydrant flow tests cost $250 per test.
Your staff must be present at the time of the test. City staff do not conduct the test. They only operate the hydrants.
How do I apply for a hydrant flow test?
Hydrant flow tests are permitted through eTRAKiT, the City's electronic permitting system. Click here to apply for a Hydrant Flow Test.
