Putting Down Roots in Tualatin
Put Down Roots in Tualatin (PDRT) is a volunteer program designed to improve stream health. Volunteers plant native trees and shrubs to provide stream shading, filter storm water and reduce stream bank erosion. PDRT volunteers planted 10,000 native trees and shrubs in 2014 including Douglas fir, Western red cedar, Cascara, Snowberry, Thimbleberry, Oregon grape, Vine maple, Sword fern and Red twig dogwood.
Join the City of Tualatin staff, get dirty, breathe fresh air and make a difference in the Tualatin watershed.
