Professional Services Request for Qualifications
The City of Tualatin is requesting qualifications to establish a qualified pool of individuals and/or firms to provide a variety of Engineering, Planning, Economic Development, and other Professional Services. A qualified pool will be established for the following categories:
- Transportation Infrastructure: Transportation infrastructure improvements including design and engineering services for roadways, traffic signals and traffic mitigation measures.
- Traffic Analysis: Consultant services relating to traffic analysis.
- Utility Infrastructure: Utility infrastructure improvements including design and engineering services for water distribution, stormwater and wastewater collection systems.
- Property Appraisal and Acquisition: Professional services including appraisals and acquisition of right-of-way, property and easements.
- Landscape Architecture: Small scale landscape projects in city owned parks, trails and plazas.
- Natural Resources: To assist in obtaining Service Provider Letters for park and trail projects.
- Urban Design Professional: Professional services to assist with various long-range planning efforts and potential redevelopment projects by providing assistance and advise on land use, design, transit and transportation to help achieve the City’s long term desired goals. Such projects could focus on parts of the City near the core that are transitioning from industrial to commercial and potentially mixed use areas.
- Economic Development Advisor: To assist with the implementation of the Economic Development Action Plan through providing guidance and expertise on business recruitment, retention, expansion, and workforce development.
- Architecture: Consultant services including, but not limited to master plan/programming, schematic design plans, construction coordination for remodels, tenant improvements, and new construction in a variety of City building types.
- Code Amendments: Professional services to assist with developing language for the comprehensive plan and development code associated with Plan Text Amendments as directed by the City Council. Other services may include a comprehensive code audit, reorganization and clean-up of the Development Code.
- Infrastructure Phasing, Financing and Development Readiness: Professional services to assist with the evaluation of existing conditions, potential development strategies and implementation planning of infrastructure services such as public utilities and transportation systems primarily for industrial land.
