All Things Spooky

Haunted House painting

October is the Spooky Season, and we have plenty of spine-tingling fun at the library!

Tiny pumpkins and spooky songs - we have fun for the whole crew. The Shrunken Regatta will grace our shelves with an undersea spectacle of glamorized gourds.

For school-aged kids in grades K-5, we have our Super Saturday: Weaving Webs craft program on October 7, and this month's Art Studio Jr. on October 18 features spooky paintings. Registration information on the calendar listings.

Everyone is welcome at our Dia de los Muertos event on Saturday, October 28. We will have crafts, pan dulce (Mexican sweet bread), and face painting! Music and good times will be had!

Come ready to sing your favorite monstrous mashes at our Scare-aoke Singalong on October 29. All ages of singers welcome, and costumes encouraged!

One of our favorite dance parties of the year returns on October 31 with the Halloween Dance-O-Rama. Young children ages 0-6 are invited to wear their costumes, boogie with us, try out the sensory stations in the Children's Room, and trick-or-treat around the whole library.
