April STEM Events at Tualatin Public Library!
Tualatin Public Library will be hosting a bunch of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)-themed events through the month of April. Check out these cool ways you can participate.
Saturday, April 6
MAGNAGON Project
1:00 - 1:30 p.m. in the Makerspace
Join the Dynosaurs LEGO Team, the designers of April's Makerspace Monthly Project, as they show you how to use 3D printers and magnets to make a toy. Includes instructions on how to use Tinkercad to design your own 3D files!

Citizen Science - Tracking Our Trees
Help resource managers study and record the benefits of urban trees by collecting and tracking the carbon and water benefits of trees in our community. Come by the library to pick up a science kit with instructions on using the iSeaTree app to make observations about your favorite trees and to register them into a nation-wide database.
Ask for a kit at the Information Desk. Sponsored by the Friends of Tualatin Library.

Family STEAM Night: Code Your Own Mask
6:30 - 8:00 p.m. in the Community Room
Use engineering and coding concepts to design and create your own light up mask! Learn how basic repeating codes are found in design and even dance.
Dinner will be provided at 6:30 p.m. STEAM program starts at 7:00PM.
For K-8 students and their families. Registration is required (register here). Only include the number of students per family in your registration.
