Citizen Science: Stall Catchers
Wednesday, November 13, 2024 - 6:30pm to 8:00pm
Learn about citizen science and how you can contribute to national Alzheimer's research.
In Stall Catchers, we “catch” stalls by looking at movies from the brains of mice and scoring blood vessels as “flowing” or “stalled." With your help, we could potentially find an effective treatment for Alzheimer's disease in just a few years—quick enough to make a difference in the lives of people who have the disease now.
For all ages. No registration required. Participants are encouraged to bring a web-capable device and follow along. A limited number of library devices will be provided during the program for those without. Held in the Community Room.
