Community Helpers Storytime
Wednesday, May 23, 2018 - 11:00am to 12:00pm
For a special storytime event every Wednesday in May, we have different public departments showing off what they do and what they use! Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue will visit with a fire truck, Police will visit with their K-9 unit, Public Works will visit with a backhoe, and the Critter Cabana will visit with some live animals.
May 2: Tony the K-9 Cop! Meet Tony, the Tualatin Police Department's furriest team member.
May 9: Fuzzy Petting Zoo! Join us for a fuzzy petting zoo courtesy of Critter Cabana.
May 16: Fire Truck! TVF&R will visit with a fire truck and introduce kids to friendly fire fighters.
May 23: Backhoe! Tualatin Public Works will bring a backhoe to the library - kids can climb on!
Free for all ages in the Library Community Room.
