Froguary at Tualatin Public Library
Tualatin Public Library is hopping into the February with our Froguary celebration! Swing by the library the entire month of February to find a bunch of fun frog-themed activities, including a scavenger hunt for kids, origami for everyone, crafts and more. Come and celebrate the leap year with us, and enjoy some of our favorite frog jokes on this page.
Origami frogs: Come and make some origami frogs! All month long, we will have paper and instructions on how to make different kinds of origami frogs and lily pads. Your creation can join the fun on our lily pads above the New Books.
Question: What goes green green green green green green?
Answer: A frog rolling down a hill.
Frog Scavenger Hunt: Frogs have taken over Tualatin Public Library, and we need YOUR help to find all of them! Any intrepid adventurer who finds all the frogs in the Childrens' Room will win a prize. Designed for kids.
Question: What do frogs like with their burgers?
Answer: French flies!
Super Saturday Craft - DIY Frog & Fly Game:
Celebrate Leap Year Day by making this fun cup-and-ball game out of various materials. How many times can your frog catch the "fly?"
Participation is exclusively for kids in grades K-5.
Registration is recommended.
