Reimagining the Children's Room

Children's Room

This summer the Tualatin Library is making improvements to the Children’s Room. Our goal is to have a room that is a premier destination for families, the first place they visit on a rainy day. We want a space where children can play for hours, but play in a way that grows their brains and all the skills they need to succeed.

This summer is going to be an exciting transition into this vision. We're moving the internet computers out and the interactive toys in as we focus on the needs of our youngest readers and learners. Create marble runs on our magnetic boards! Build a castle on our Lego table! Bring a story to life using our flannel board! All of these activities and more will soon be available, so stay tuned!
