Summer Reading: June 1 - August 31

Read, Renew, Repeat

Summer Reading returns on June 1! This summer, we invite you to Read, Renew, and Repeat!

How to participate

Register in-person at the library

Summer Reading is for everyone in your family! All participants receive a reading log. Kids and teens receive a free book when they sign up.

Read for twenty minutes and place a sticker on your log.
  • What counts as reading? Not just books! Newspapers, magazines, audiobooks, online articles, and graphic novels count, too.

  • Reading to a young child counts as reading for you and the child!
When your log is full, bring it in to the library.
  • Kids and teens get another free book for their first completed log. Adults receive a coupon for a free item from our Friends of the Tualatin Public Library sale.
  • Everyone gets an entry in our Grand Prize Drawings, which include a $200 gift card to Powell's, a $200 gift card to Barnes & Noble, and two fantastic LEGO sets.
Keep reading for more Grand Prize Drawing entries!
  • Participants of all ages will get an additional drawing entry for every reading log they turn in.
When can I start? When can I finish?
  • We're accepting registrations from June 1 all the way through August 31.
  • Completed logs can be turned in through August 31 for books and Grand Prize Drawing entries.
What else should I know?
  • That we have tons of fun planned this summer!
