Summer Reading Kickoff Events, June 16 – 18
For EVERYONE: The Amazing Bubble Man!
Saturday, June 17, 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM and 2:00 – 3:00 PM
The Amazing Bubble Man (a.k.a. Louis Pearl) explores the magic of bubbles, combining comedy, science and artistry with absolutely spellbinding bubble tricks. Two shows, 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM. Free tickets for both shows are available starting at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 17 at the Information Desk of the Library. You must have a ticket to attend. For all ages. Held in the Community Room.
For TEENS: Summer Reading Party
Friday, June 16, 2:00 – 4:00 PM
Join us in our celebration of summer! Play bingo, eat snacks, sign-up for Summer Reading and get a free book. For students in grades 6-12. Held in the Teen Room.
For ADULTS and families: The Cabin Project
Sunday, June 18, 2:00 – 3:00 PM
The Cabin Project, an all-woman/non-binary quartet of musicians, crafts a musical hybrid of orchestral folk, rock and indie. Three-part harmonies, pedals, synths and strings bring a sonically expansive yet heartfelt and intimate sound. Held around the hearth.
