Summer in a Jar: Cannin' & Jammin'
Tuesday, June 12, 2018 - 6:00pm to 9:00pm
This class is held at the Juanita Pohl Center located at 8513 SW Tualatin Rd, Tualatin, OR 97062.
Save summer in a jar in our Cannin’ & Jammin' class. OSU extension shows us how to create jams & jellies in this hands-on class. Topics covered include:
- Review current and safe methods for processing fruit
- Create tasty jams & jellies from locally grown fruit
- Learn how to use a boiling water canner
- Review equipment needs
- Evaluate recipes for food safety
$10 class fee paid by cash or check at the door.
Fee includes instructional handouts, low-sugar and freezer jam recipes, samples, and product to take home.
