Cell Towers and Wireless Communication Facilities
The placement and design of cell towers and other wireless communication facilities outside of the public right-of-way are regulated by Chapter 73F of the Tualatin Development Code.
- In general, construction of new facilities require approval of an Architectural Review application and may also require prior approval of a Conditional Use Permit application.
- Alterations or additions to existing facilities that do not increase structure height generally require approval of a Minor Architectural Review application.
Please visit the Forms, Applications and Fees link on our homepage for more information. Additional regulations vary based on the zoning designation of the specific site. Placement of wireless telecommunication facilities within the public right-of-way is regulated by the Tualatin Public Works Department (please call 503-691-3091 for more information).
