Food Carts (Mobile Food Units)
Background
In 2017, the City Council adopted regulations in its Municipal Code (Chapter 9-10) allowing Food Carts/Trucks to operate within paved parking areas on private property in industrial areas of the City and some commercial areas (Ordinance 1403-17).
Application Requirements
A mobile food unit application is required to be approved by the Planning Division prior to operation of a food cart/truck within Tualatin. Please visit the Forms, Applications, and Fees link on our homepage for more information. Note that additional permitting may be required through Washington County's Health Department.
