September is National Emergency Preparedness Month
The Theme for this year is “Disasters Happen. Prepare Now. Learn How”. This year’s theme seems very clear that WE all need to prepare now before and incident or emergency happens. It is important to remember to prepare here at work, at home, at school and our places of worship.
With September being National Preparedness Month (NPM), it provides us with a reminder that we need to prepare our families now and throughout the year. This year’s theme focuses on preparation and learning how to become prepared. During the week of September 10, an Emergency Preparedness display was placed in the Library Display case and provided viable information for our many Library visitors to take with them to begin or finish up with their preparations.
