Tualatin River Greenway Trail
Tualatin River Trail
The Tualatin River Trail is an accessible pathway for walkers and bikers that winds its way among trees, alongside the river, and through scenic wetlands. It’s a perfect way to enjoy nature while getting some exercise, having fun, and spotting wildlife.
Currently, the trail exists in segments shown in the map above. As opportunities arise, additional segments will be completed, linking segments together for safer access to recreation spots, schools, nature areas, and other important places in our community.
Exciting news!
Thanks to the ODOT Community Paths Grant and support from Washington County, we’ve designed a new 0.46-mile extension! Construction has already started to create a safe pathway under Highway 99W. We’re aiming to finish this much-needed addition by summer 2024!
While we wait for this new segment, enjoy a stroll along the longest part of the trail. It connects Brown's Ferry Park to Tualatin Community Park, now even better with a new section that opened in summer 2023, offering a river connection to Brown’s Ferry Park. At Tualatin Community Park, you can cross a pedestrian and bike bridge into Durham Park and Cook Park in Tigard.
Access Recreation - Accessible Outdoor Recreation for All
Access Recreation (AR) is a Portland, Oregon ad hoc committee that has developed guidelines for minimum information provided about hiking trails and outdoor facilities, that would benefit hikers with disabilities. Access Recreation has reviewed recreational trails in the Portland - Vancouver region from the perspective of users with various disabilities or ability levels. Many trails can be found at AccessTrails online HERE. This project was supported by a Metro Nature in Neighborhoods grant and by partner agencies.
