Parks & Recreation Master Plan
Project Overview
The City of Tualatin Parks and Recreation Master Plan provides guidance and direction for parks, recreation facilities and programs to address community needs through 2035. Thanks to all community members who were involved to update the Parks & Recreation Master Plan. The Parks & Recreation Master Plan is available at the bottom of this page under supporting documents.
Master Plan Adoption
On November 25, 2019 at 7:00 p.m., the City Council held a public hearing and adopted by Ordinance No. 1427-19 the Comprehensive Plan Text Amendment (PTA 19-0003) and Plan Map Amendment (PMA 19-0003) that update the Tualatin Community Plan, Development Code, Transportation System Plan, and associate Maps and figures to reflect the 2018 updated Parks & Recreation Master Plan. These changes includes updating maps of planned future trails in the Tualatin Development Code to reflect those adopted in the Parks & Recreation Master Plan, as well as updates to simplify the street tree list, and updated document references. The adopted amendments, maps, and further details on the revisions may is available at the bottom of this page under supporting documents.
Parks System Development Charge (SDC)
On January 14, 2019 the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1415-18, Park System Development Charge Methodology. Council action on June 10, 2019 adopted the System Development Charge rates by Resolution No. 5450-19. The System Development Charge information can be found under supporting documents at the bottom of this page.
