Atfalati Park
Atfalati Park (rhymes with "quality"), located at 6600 SW Sagert St, is a 13.27 acre neighborhood park that provides opportunities for active and passive recreation. Atfalati is the name of the Native American Kalapuyan tribe that once occupied the Tualatin River watershed. The name was often shortened to Tualati or Tualatin.
For a nature experience, walk along the boundary of an 8.5 acre wetland in the Saum Creek Greenway and learn about the native wildlife and natural history in the area through interpretive signage.
There are two playgrounds (one for pre-school age and another for five years and older), basketball courts, tennis courts, and sports fields among the facilities available at Atfalati Park. The ball field is available for reservation through the Parks and Recreation Department at 503-691-3061 or in person at 8513 SW Tualatin Road during normal business hours.
For extra-large events or special circumstances at any of our parks, a Special Event Permit may be required - please call The Parks & Recreation Department for more information.
For the most current updates on projects, closures and announcements about this park please visit the Parks & Recreation Updates & Announcements page.
