Parks Maintenance Division
The Parks Maintenance Division is responsible for the city's 300 acres of land in parks, greenways, natural areas, and public spaces and landscaping around public buildings, core area parking lots, and in right-of-ways. Of the 300 acres, approximately 284 acres are developed, with one community park, three neighborhood parks, two natural parks, one man-made lake with an interplay fountain, and the ArtWalk.
The Parks Maintenance Division also maintains grounds around public buildings, developed greenways, wetlands, and undeveloped natural areas and vegetation management of 62 water quality facilities.
This division of Operations is staffed by one Park Maintenance Manager, four Parks Maintenance Technician I, two Parks Maintenance Technician II, two nine-month Temporary positions, and four summer Temporary Positions.
