American Flag Stolen
On Thursday, January 10, 2013, Tualatin Police Officers responded to a reported theft of an American flag at Wendy’s Restaurant, located at 7663 SW Nyberg Street.
The manager of the restaurant reported that the American flag that had been displayed atop of the Wendy’s flag pole was stolen. He described the flag as extremely large. During the theft, the crank mechanism used to raise and lower the flag was damaged as well.
There is no current suspect information.
Tualatin Police ask anyone with any information pertaining to this event to please call the tip-line at 503-691-0285. Tualatin Police would like to see the flag returned to the restaurant, so that it can once again be displayed proudly.
