Fireworks can be scary for pets!
Remember, fireworks can be beautiful to us but terrifying to pets. More pets run away on July 4th than any other day. Help keep your pets safe and calm this 4th of July by following a few simple tips:
*Leave your pet indoors, whether you are home or not. They'll be much more comfortable in a cool house.
*Provide ambient noise, such as radio or TV.
*Make sure your pet has a collar with an ID tag.
*Provide toys for comfort & distraction.
*Keep all party/picnic foods out of pets' reach.
Have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July!
