No Shave November 2016
Members of the Tualatin Police Department decided to put away their razors and let their hair grow during the month of November. This was to grow cancer awareness by participating in "No Shave November", which is a web-based, non-profit organization devoted to raising funds to support cancer prevention, research, and education.
For a minimum of $10.00 Tualatin Police Department members could take part in this great cause. Essentially, they donated the money they would typically spend on shaving and grooming supplies during the month to help educate about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle. Members participated by growing a beard, cultivating a mustache, letting those legs go natural, and skipping that waxing appointment.
All funds raised by the Tualatin Police Department were donated directly to "No Shave November".
We are proud to say we let it grow and successfully raised $675! Thank you all for your support.
