Police Make Arrest in Bank of the West Robbery
On Monday, September 22, 2016, Tigard Police arrested Grant Christian Ernst, 27 years of age, of Puyallup, Washington. Mr. Ernst was charged with second degree conspiracy to commit robbery, first degree theft, and unlawful possession of heroin.
Tigard and Tualatin Detectives, as well as members of the FBI, have been working collaboratively on an investigation into the September 1, 2016 robbery of the Bank of the West, in Tualatin. As a result of information obtained during the arrest of Mr. Ernst on September 22, 2016, he was also federally charged for the robbery of the Tualatin Bank of the West.
Mr. Ernst is currently in custody at the Washington County Jail.
