Police Plan Traffic Enforcement Detail
The Tualatin Police will be hosting a four (4) hour traffic enforcement/education detail on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 between the hours of 7:30am and 11:30am.
During that time the Tigard and Sherwood Police Departments will be assisting the Tualatin Police with the enforcement. The detail will focus on seatbelt use, cell phone use, failure to obey traffic control devices, unsafe/un-signaled lane changes, speeding, and misuse of continuous left-turn lanes. Enforcement efforts will take place in various locations throughout the city. The focus will be on education through enforcement.
As we continue through the spring months, the rainy weather brings about an increase in dangerous driving conditions. Drivers are reminded to be extra vigilant in regards to their driving practices and to follow Oregon traffic laws.
